I hope that this refined and magic kind of sport which assists harmonical development thanks to our efforts will gain more popularity and world recognition.

The Ukrainian DanceSport Association was registered in the Ministry of justice of Ukraine on January 31, 1992. It was included into the structure of International DanceSport Federation (IDSF) in 1992. It was included into the structure of International DanceSport Association (IDSA) in 2005. It was included into the structure of International Dance Union (IDU) in 2006.

It was included into the structure of National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in 1992. It was included into the structure of Ukrainian Academy of dance in 1996.

UDSA constantly provides the participation of sportsmen of Ukraine in all official Championships and Cups of the world and Europe. Every year IDSF gives right to UDSA to hold the competitions of such a level that is a confirmation of high level of organization and holding of the competitions in Ukraine.

In future UDSA will develop as organization which represents Ukraine on the international level in sportdance, prepare combined team of Ukraine for achieving the highest results in the Championships and Cups of the world and Europe. Getting ready for including the sportdance into the programme of the Olympic games will form the future olympic combined team in sportdance.
